New York Distilling Company 7 Year Heirloom Jaywalk Single Barrel Rye Whiskey

One notable mention in the world of heirloom rye whiskeys is the New York Distilling Company 7 Year Heirloom Jaywalk Single Barrel Rye Whiskey.

Crafted from 75% Horton Rye, a grain once lost and forgotten, it has been passionately revived by the New York Distilling Company. With acres dedicated to its cultivation in Seneca Falls, New York, they've partnered with local farmers - the Peterson Family, who've been instrumental in growing this distinct rye for the distillery since its inception in 2011.

This rye grain is truly special; not only is it smaller than typical rye, but it's also brimming with unique flavors. After 13 years in the making, the general public now gets to experience this fantastic expression!
